Color runs are popular, but have you heard about color concerts? Unlike most concerts and events that come to the North Charleston Coliseum, the Life in Color event allows audience members to participate by freely painting themselves or anyone else around them, making it Charleston’s largest paint party. Adventure Club and DJ David Solano will spin dance music while a gigantic super soaker hose will spray the audience with paint. “It’s an electronic music focused Cirque du Soleil-type of event with aerialists, trampolinists, and LED light shows,” says Beau Burns, the local coordinator for the event. LIC’s website recommends wearing white, and paint will be for sale at the event. And you probably want to leave anything you don’t want covered in paint at home.
