Tristan is eager to show off the talents of its new chef, Nate Whiting, so they’re hosting an exclusive affair. “Lawd Have Mercy, That Boy Can Cook” gives diners a private evening with Whiting, who came to Tristan via the five-star Woodlands Resort & Inn.

He’ll get your evening started with an imaginative bite of sea urchin panna cotta, American caviar, and toasted brioche followed by venison carpaccio, pickled mushrooms, juniper, and lemon aioli. Aquerello risotto comes next and then a hay-smoked flounder, potato gnocchi, Sicilian olives, and piquello pepper coulis. Dessert is chai tiramisu.
