Last Chance to Catch 'Em: Plants both benign and frightening

What's closing this weekend, Jan. 28–Feb. 3

We hope you're good at decision-making, because it's going to be hard to choose between four different theater productions going into their final weekend.

There's not too much fiber art on display in town, so make sure you stop by the North Charleston City Gallery. They're displaying Wash Over You, new works by fiber artist and North Charleston 2012-2013 Artist in Residence Kristy Bishop, until Thursday, January 31. Admission is free.

The Wells Gallery at the Sanctuary Resort on Kiawah is showing the Island Arts Juried Art Show: Photographs until Sunday, Feb. 3. Admission is free.

For some nun-centered comedy, see The Divine Sister at the Woolfe Street Playhouse. All shows are at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $27 for adults, $25 for seniors, and $20 for students.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are also the last showings of The Motherf**ker with the Hat at PURE Theater on King St. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. with an additional 3:30 showing on Saturday. You probably don’t want to bring your kids. Tickets are $30.

Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m. are the last chances to see The Secret Garden performed by Charleston Stage at the Historic Dock Street Theater. This performance is geared toward the kids, but should be fun for the whole family. Tickets are $22.50.

And last but not least, it's the final weekend for What If? Productions' Little Shop of Horrors. See it Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m., or Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $28 for adults, $20 for kids. Better make sure they're not scared of bloodthirsty plants first.
