Peaceful? For the most part. A place to bring your 13yo daughter? Not the DC march unless you want her to hear all the cursing and angry rhetoric spewed by the invited speakers. Oh, and let's not forget the women walking around in giant vagina costumes. Not exactly a "family" event. My eyes are still burning from the image.
Let's face it folks, this was your "sore loser march". I'm a conservative and we had our sore loser march too after Barack Hussein Obama was elected. Our big event was the Restoring Honor rally on Aug 28, 2010, and those of us who attended felt like we had a crowd of 400-500 thousand. Did our march amount to anything? Probably not. Will your march amount to anything? Doubtful. But yes, I bet it made you feel good to be surrounded by like minded individuals, so at least you have that memory. Congratulations and glad you enjoyed it.
Yes, the sea levels may rise in the next 10 million years to these doom and gloom levels, but it is extremely naive of us to assume that the human species will survive to see it. Our biology has already undergone significant changes over the past thousand years, and we are seeing a significant rise in autism and serious genetic ailments. Meanwhile, new species of insect are being discovered in remote areas of the earth. For all we know, one bite from one tiny insect may lead to our extinction. I believe in what I see. I launch my boat at the same boat ramp that my father and grandfather used to launch their boats. The water level appears to be exactly the same from my point of view.
