Haha... wow. Talk about someone failing to use statistics correctly. Way to make a negative stereotype about dumb southerners really shine! Maybe next time ask someone who went to college for a hard science to proof read before posting your article?
In (SHORT) summary of what's wrong about this article:
Comparing the total number of accidents or injuries per mile traveled of cyclists to the same regarding automobile drivers is comparing apples to oranges. There are hundreds of variables you need to eliminate before you can even reasonably present the argument that you're trying to present. Go back to college, take a class or three in statistics, and then maybe write an article about what you've learned.
Any "debate" about this topic is pointless until a justifiable argument is presented. Right now it's a ridiculous perspective that's entirely undeserving of civil discourse, let alone publication
