Jason Mraz to visit CofC campus

The cheerful songsmith performs at the Carolina First Arena

Tickets for the Jason Mraz concert at the College of Charleston's Carolina First Arena (40 Calhoun St.) on Wed. Sept. 22 went on sale this week.

The L.A.-based modern pop-rock songwriter (and regular VH1 pundit) headlines the event in support of his recent studio album We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things (which spawned his first chart-topping single, "I'm Yours") and a new live album titled Jason Mraz's Beautiful Mess: Live on Earth.

California-based songwriter Robert Francis opens at 8 p.m. (his latest disc is called Before Nightfall).

The Office of Student Life presents the show. CofC students may purchase advance tickets for $20 (or $25 on the day of the show). Advance tickets for the general public are available for $35. Sales are limited to two tickets per person.
