Interpol, the accomplished post-punk band from New York City, arrive at the Music Farm armed with a new self-titled album (due out on Sept. 7 on Matador) and a solid lineup. Singer/guitarist Paul Banks, lead guitarist Daniel Kessler, and drummer Sam Fogarino recently enlisted bassist/guitarist David Pajo and keyboardist Brandon Curtis. This Wednesday, Interpol welcomes special guests Twin Tigers as the opening act. Guitarist/vocalist Matthew Rain and bassist Aimee Morris formed the band in Athens, Ga., in 2007. They released a debut EP in ’08 titled Curious Faces/Violet Future and built a fan base throughout the Southeast. The indie rock band recently toured with the Hold Steady and Dead Confederate. —T.
