Homebrewers Joel Carl, Chris Brown, Mac Minaudo, and Sean Nemitz produce a delicious porter, a delicate pilsner, and an array of hoppy pale ales and spicy seasonal brews at their cozy warehouse facility in North Charleston. Recent brews have utilized local ingredients, including the strong Shiftee Ale, which was dry-hopped with Cascade hops grown on Wadmalaw Island, and the autumn seasonal Pecan Dream Brown Ale, a very dark and malty beer made with regional pecans. —T.
