Local pop/rock combo Henry's Attic and N.C. songwriter Leisure McCorkle share the bill at 7 p.m. Formerly of ’90s bands Misguided Youth and Funkenstein, McCorkle formed Leisure McCorkle while at Appalachian State University in N.C. In recent years, the songwriter switched gears from rock to science, relocated to Belfast, Northern Ireland, and earned his Ph.D. in Cognitive Anthropology. His latest collection is titled 5000 Light Years Beyond the Speed of Sound.
