Deep breath in — and out. Don't freak (or do, if that gets you in the Halloween spirit), but there's a lot going on this weekend. We know it can be overwhelming but we've done the dirty work for you, rounding up all of the city's parties. We hope you've got your best costumes ready because there are tons of cash prizes out there. We think you know who has our vote.


Dudley's Funhouse started rockin' on Wednesday — inspired by circus freakshows and carnival fun this is the place to get weird, with a live palm reader and carnival food to boot.

Charleston Pride hosts their first ever Halloween on the Harbor cruise tonight with an open bar, hors d'oeuvres, hookah, and music by DJ Lanatron for $40. The boat boards at 7:30 p.m. at Patriots Point.

With a name like Warehouse, it's gotta be haunted. Head to Warehouse on Friday and Saturday for DJ Rehab, a tap takeover from COAST, whiskey takeover from High Wire, and a Halloween-themed menu starting at 4 p.m.

Perpetual Groove's Halloween show sold out so if you wanna trick or trance head to the Pour House tonight to catch them for $25 starting at 9:30 p.m.


Downtown's Wild Wing cafe hosts Alice in Wilderland with live music by Whiskey Run, drink specials, and a costume contest starting at 10 p.m.

For a fancy throwdown head to Circular Congregational Church at 8 p.m. for a masquerade gala featuring choral music, black tie attire, and of course, masks. Tickets are $75.

The Bar Mash at East Bay's newest restaurant/bar Mercantile and Mash hosts an American Horror Story Whiskey Ward featuring drinks specials and a costume contest starting at 9 p.m.

Bright lights neon nights rhymes! It's also Market Street Saloon's Halloween bash featuring $3 glowing jello shots, glowing gatorade shots, and $5 Kraken Rum. Release the Kraken, we say. The cover is $10 and once inside you can compete for best male, female, couple, or group costume.

Club Pantheon throws a Halloween bash with a costume contest and drag queen performance starting at 9 p.m. $10 for 21+ and $20 for 18-20.

Bar crawl with the Creeps in Avondale starting at Gene's Haufbrau — best costume wins a Gene's gift certificate.

Celebrate Halloween on the creek at Red's starting at 9 p.m. where you can enter the costume contest for a chance to win $500.

The Black Sheep throughs a rockin' Halloween party with live music by the High Society Hip Hop parade starting at 9 p.m.

Halloween at Boone's Bar features specials like $3 Modelos and $5 Kraken rum punches along with a costume contest.

Enjoy Halloween with a view at the Rooftop where DJ Mateo will be spinning beats. The cover is $10 and includes access to a costume contest and drink specials starting at 8 p.m

Planet Follywood throws a Halloween bash starting at 9 p.m with $2 PBRs and mystery beers, $3 Purple Haze, and $5 Brain shooters. There will also be a costume contest with prizes and Don't Mess with the Tiger takes the stage at 9:30 p.m.

If gravy chugging tickles your fancy (and we know it does) head to Tattooed Moose downtown for a dance party with Klev Starr starting at 9 p.m.

Tabbuli's got a Haus of Horrors party with themed drinks, hookah, a drag show, fire breathers, and DJ Dynamik. Phew. Tickets are $50 at the door.

King Street Grille in North Chuck is throwing a Hysteria Halloween party with DJ Precise and DJ R Dot. There will be drink specials like $2 vodka and $3 Shocktops starting at 10 p.m.

Get ready for a night at the Oscars at Shelter where you can dress like any character from an Oscar-winning movie for a chance to win Shelter cash. Return of the Mac takes the stage at 10 p.m. and there will be drink specials like $4 Cold Spell, Serpent's Bite, and Sweet Heat shots.

Celebrate Halloween at O-Ku with a DJ and costume contest starting at 5 p.m.

The Cocktail Club's sideshow Halloween party is adorned with all things creepy and carnival-inspired. Starting at 6 p.m. you can enjoy drink specials and enter a costume contest.

Head to the Sparrow dressed as your favorite dead celebrity to get in free ($5 without costume, but come on, you kinda have to) starting at 9 p.m. Action City Blackout will perform followed by Counterpunch.

Taco Boy's got DJ Natty Heavy and a costume contest. Cover is $5, starting at 6 p.m.
