Grace United Methodist Church will celebrate its 50th anniversary. The Rev. Mary Virginia Taylor, Bishop of the South Carolina United Methodist Conference, will deliver the sermon and Charleston Mayor Joe Riley and the Rev. Patricia Parish, District Superintendent of the United Methodist Charleston District, will make remarks. The presiding minister at Grace is the Rev. Donald O. Clendaniel II. Several of Grace’s former ministers will also be in attendance. The worship service will be followed by a reception in the church’s Celebration Center.
