If you're looking for something a little more interactive, check out Peter Gross' Get Hypnotized! and Magic and Other Suspect Activities. The two shows are sure to get a laugh at the Comedy Fest. Both shows are full of stage illusions, family-friendly stand-up comedy, and loads of audience participation. Gross has engaged audiences at the White House, the Kennedy Center, and in various festivals around the world.
Gross' comedy hypnosis is his biggest hit. It turns the most timid people into dancing and singing entertainers. But no worries. While fellow audience members act out their own deep desires, you won't be subjected to seeing anything too outlandish or downright disturbing. Volunteers only do what they're comfortable doing, Gross says, even while under a trance.
"When you're hypnotized, you don't lose your moral compass," Gross says. "I can just suggest something and they'll figure it out. They make the show their own, and their version is very different from our version of the show."
