Geno Jones has become one of the most recognizable voices in Charleston. Whether he is hosting his radio show on STAR 99.7 or telling jokes at a stand-up comedy show, Jones always has something to say — even to Oprah Winfrey when he appeared on her show in the 1990s. Now, Jones will dish out some relationship advice when he hosts a book signing and seminar talking about issues discussed in his new book, Game Recognize Game. “The inspiration for this book came from my mother,” Jones explains. “It was my mother’s goal to make sure no other woman had to experience the abuse, pain, heartache, and neglect that she went through in her relationships. She wanted to mold me into the perfect man, so all the advice I give in the book is looking through that lens.” Game Recognize Game was released a few years ago as an audio book, but now Jones is re-releasing it in print. “The book revolves around conversations I had with three women. We talked about why men do the things they do in relationships. At this seminar, however, I want to give everyone an opportunity to ask me any question they’d like about what I have discovered in my research.” It’s free to the public, and complimentary wine and cheese will provided while Jones takes on your toughest relationship questions.
