Rose Freeman's idyllic roadside stand is situated below a moss-draped live oak on Johns Island, next to her 150 acres of cultivated fields. Expect her to open for business as her crops yield their spring bounty. Freeman's neat and tidy wooden structure is usually open daily and should be brimming with peas, butter beans, squash, broccoli, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, and string beans very soon.
