Routines can really get you down sometimes. But some routines remain magical every single time, like fireworks on the Fourth of July. Here’s the rundown of shows that will be exploding across town, so you can get in as many explosions in the sky as possible. Mt. Pleasant has a couple events going on, but the main show over the Charleston Harbor is scheduled to start around 9 p.m. Patriots Point will be letting guests into the party at 6 p.m., and the Uncle Sam Jam at the Mt. Pleasant Pier begins at 7 p.m. Sullivan’s Island says its display will begin at dusk, but guests can pick out their prime viewing location at 5:30 p.m. Word on the street is that Isle of Palms tries to wait until the Sullivan’s show ends before they start their own sky party, so it’s possible to position yourself for a double feature. North Charleston expects to light it up around 9 p.m. Head to Riverfront Park earlier in the day to get a prime spot and partake in the live music. Kiawah’s getting fancy with two displays — one at 9:15 p.m. at Night Heron Park and the other at 9:40 p.m. at The Sanctuary’s beachfront. Rounding out the night’s festivities will be Folly Beach’s display, which begins at 10:30 p.m. Whew, that’s a whole lot of combustive material hitting the sky.
