Fridays can sometimes seem like a mythical unicorn as you endlessly wait for the work week to end. And first Fridays are like a mythical herd of unicorns, coming around but once a month. And this Friday is a lucky unicorn day since it’s one with Gallery Row’s art walk, which welcomes the community to share in the artists’ landscapes and sculptures — most of which are modeled after scenes from the Holy City herself. First Fridays give patrons a chance to wine and wind down from their work week while socializing and seeing new art. “This First Friday marks the beginning of the fall and holiday season of art,” says Danny Laran from Coco Vivo Art for Living, which has a new installation of works from couple Monique and Ronald Perry. A member of the American Society of Maritime Art, Ronald will showcase his award-winning nautical landscapes, while his wife Monique displays her classic still lifes.
