Leave the cooking for Christmas day and let a chef fill your bellies Christmas Eve at a Feast of the Seven Fishes. The traditional Italian Christmas Eve meal features various seafood dishes, and two local restaurants are doing it up right for the holiday. At $48, Trattoria Lucca’s dinner comes in as the slightly cheaper option, with a family-style menu prepared by Chef Ken Vedrinski. It includes local sea bass crudo, shellfish minestrone, baccalau, Piccata of Torchino-style local grouper, Cavatelli with spicy blue crab marinara, grilled local octopus with fingerling potatoes and baby artichokes, and grilled calamari with bucatini, lemon agrumato, and Calabrese chilies. Drink, tax, and gratuity are not included in the price. —Erica Jackson
