Leave the cooking for Christmas day and let a chef fill your bellies Christmas Eve at a Feast of the Seven Fishes. The traditional Italian Christmas Eve meal features various seafood dishes, and two local restaurants are doing it up right for the holiday. At $48, Trattoria Lucca’s dinner comes in as the slightly cheaper option, with a family-style menu prepared by Chef Ken Vedrinski. It includes local sea bass crudo, shellfish minestrone, baccalau, Piccata of Torchino-style local grouper, Cavatelli with spicy blue crab marinara, grilled local octopus with fingerling potatoes and baby artichokes, and grilled calamari with bucatini, lemon agrumato, and Calabrese chilies.
