After many strong showings here in Charleston, Atlanta-based improv group Einstein Meets Elvis returns to the Holy City for another evening of “rocket-fueled improv.” “We love Charleston,” says group co-founder Jen Caldwell. “It’s almost become like a second home for us. Theatre 99 has always been great to us, and the crowds they get in that room are some of the best we’ve ever had.” The group, which is made up of long-time friends Caldwell, Mike Brune, Damian Dunn, and Chris Nik, has been busy touring the country, performing their unique, uninhibited comedy style with audiences everywhere, including the Del Close Marathon in New York, the Toronto Improv Festival, and the Hawaii Festival of Improv. “One of our group members, Mike, moved to Chicago not too long ago, and we didn’t want to break up the group. So now whenever we get to do a show together we go all out,” Caldwell says. Buckle your seatbelts.
