Price: $30/advance, $40/door

Everyone knows the first step in planning a wedding is picking your colors, and the Eco Bridal Guide Gala may help you make green a part of your special day. Join organic-minded Charleston wedding vendors, designers, and stylists at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens as they show engaged couples and industry enthusiasts how to host a sustainable and stylish wedding. “With Charleston becoming America’s top wedding destination, this is a perfect first step on our journey to protect, maintain, and nurture our breathtaking natural environment while engaging a passionate community of local business,” says event planner Paul Bannister. The ladies can coo over the fashion installation from Rachel Gordon’s One Love Bridal and the premiere of a short film by Jade Sullivan of Pistil Films (shot on-site at Magnolia Gardens). There will also be a Lowcountry boil from the Smoking Pot, vegan bites from Bull Street Gourmet, sweet treats from WildFlour Pastry, and beverages from IceBox. Brides-to-be can bid on wedding-themed raffle items like a week of personal training, a couple’s massage, wedding-day hair styling and makeup, and even a wedding cake for over 100 people. Enjoy live music from the V-Tones, Shrimp Records Family Band, Chouette Noir, and classical guitarist Gregory Guay as you navigate booths for local eco-conscious businesses like Jonny Cosmetics, the Peoples Press, Angela Hall Designs, and more.
