Eat here on Thanksgiving

These restaurants will give you a stress-free Turkey Day meal

A long, long time ago, a group of pilgrims crossed the Atlantic Ocean because they were really hungry for pumpkin pie and stuffing. Or something like that. Either way, we celebrate that fateful day by stuffing our gullets with the finest America can offer and then count our blessings while in a tryptophan coma. Don’t repeat the hassles our forefathers by slaving in the kitchen during this holiday — make someone else do it. Here's a roundup of where you can dine on some turkey and Charleston favorites.

Anson
(843) 577-0551
ansonrestaurant.com/holiday

Anson is preparing a special three-course Thanksgiving meal for $50 on November 28th. First course choices include their famous she crab soup or shrimp and grits, or more adventurous options like their roasted bone marrow or butternut squash agnolotti. Choosing a main dish will prove to be difficult with options including a turkey dinner, filet mingnon, or roasted leg of lamb. Make sure you leave room for dessert though, because their pumpkin white chocolate bread pudding or warm cinnamon rolls served with sweet potato ice cream will be what we're thankful for this year.
