Skateboarding may or may not be a crime, but that didn’t stop the guys of DTB from raising hell in their new video, lowkey. Made by local skater-cum-videographer Mike Hogan, this hand-held recorded documentary features a band of 20-something outlaws drinking 40s, busting their asses, puking on sidewalks, getting tickets from pissed off cops ... and skating, obviously. Filmed in locations all around America, lowkey has its official premiere this Saturday night at the Tin Roof, where you can see a lot more of what you expect to see in the video, but hopefully less puking. There will also be drink specials and live music by DJ Dr. Fuzz, so be sure to get your tickets in advance at Continuum on Spring Street for $10, otherwise you’ll be paying $15 at the door. So whether you’re interested in the impressive skating footage, the constant bad behavior of DTB (we’re not allowed to tell you what that stands for), or just want to watch some people eat pavement, there’s no doubt that lowkey will entertain you.
