Drink This: Mt. Pleasant Bloody Mary

You know something is good when your co-worker takes time to photograph it and send you a write-up, unbidden.

Our music editor T. Ballard Lesemann may know beer, but he also knows a good Bloody Mary when he tastes one.

Last Sunday, he went to Cork Neighborhood Bistro in Park Circle for brunch and had this to say about the Mt. Pleasant Bloody Mary:

"It's made with Absolut, green olives, Scales Bloody Mary mix, lemon, lime, and a huge, clove-spiced shrimp (I had them add okra, too). It was spicy, but had an almost fruity, super-ripe tomato sweetness. The shrimp was delicious."

Sounds like it's worth suffering a hangover for, and Ballard's addition of the okra pickle is a good idea.
