In honor of breast cancer awareness month, Charleston is painting the town pink — literally. From shop windows to fundraisers to parties, there are plenty of pink events to attend to show your support for a cure. Here are just some of the options around town.

Styling for a Cure at Elysium Salon in Mt. Pleasant on Oct. 23 from 6-9 p.m. is a hair, makeup, and wine party. Complimentary hair and makeup demos will be offered and 15 percent of proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Om Yoga for Women Cancer Survivors is Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. at Holy Cow Yoga in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Join Tari Prinster from Om Yoga NYC for this gentle class that offers inspiration and bonding for women who are surviving and thriving from breast cancer and other cancers. Yo Burrito's downtown and Mt. Pleasant locations will give 10 percent of the night’s proceeds to Charleston Breast Center on Oct. 24.

Charleston Junior Woman’s Club is hosting an oyster roast at Bowen’s Island Restaurant on Oct. 25 from 1-5 p.m. with proceeds going to the Charleston Breast Center. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 the day of and include food, beverages, beer and wine. Purchase tickets at

Holy City Tattoo will host “Pink Ink,” which gives offers $40 breast cancer awareness tattoos on Oct. 25 from 12-4 p.m. It's a great chance to show your commitment to finding a cure and contribute to Charleston Breast Center.

Fleet Landing joins with Charleston Breast Center for “Dine and Drink in the Pink” on Oct. 28 from 4-8 p.m. Proceeds from “Pink Happy Hour” will go directly to Charleston Breast Center.

On Oct. 29, Circa 1886 will again give 10 percent of the $75 tasting menus ordered to Charleston Breast Center.
