Demolition at Gaillard Auditorium 

Demolition is underway at the Gaillard Auditorium, which is in the midst of a $142 million overhaul. The updated Gaillard Center is set for completion by December 2014.

Hurricane Hugo knocked some bricks off the east side of the Gaillard in 1989, and as a result, the newer replacement bricks stand out next to the old ones. All of the bricks on the east side will be replaced.
