Gallery 57 hosts a Day of the Dead party and exhibit of altars made by various local artists. The gallery space will be transformed into a virtual Mexico, with the traditional decorations including sugar skulls, Calaveras (the male skeletons) and Catrinas (female), and art from various Mexican artists collected by Gallery 57’s owner, Jill Hunter. Mexican food, beer, Mariachi Band and fire dancing also included.
