Davy Knowles brings jams

A bluesy night of Manx-rock set for Dec. 2

A year and a half ago, a very young, impressively soulful blues-rock power trio from the Isle of Man (a small island in the Irish Sea) called Back Door Slam visited town for a show at the Music Farm. The master guitarist and main songwriter, Davy Knowles (age 21), returns with a revised backing band for a big show at the Pour House on Wed. Dec. 2.

Presented by The Bridge at 105.5, Knowles recently worked with Peter Frampton on his new album, Coming Up for Air. Knowles will perform alongside drummer Steven Barci, bassist PK, and keyboardist Ty Bailie. The Bridge has been playing the songs "Tear Down The Walls," "Taste of Danger," "It'll All Come Around," and "Come Home" from Coming Up for Air this summer and fall.

Cover is $15. See davyknowles.com and1055thebridge.com for more.
