CHEESE TASTING | Ted gets your goat
Cheesemaking with Fromagerie Belle Chevre
Fri. April 27
334 East Bay St.
Cheeseheads gather 'round — Ted's Butcherblock has an event for you. The gourmet butcher shop on East Bay Street will be hosting artisan cheesemakers from the Fromagerie Belle Chevre dairy farm in Alabama. The family-owned farm uses French farmstead techniques to make cheese from natural cultures, enzymes, and fresh goat milk collected from their own goats. The cheeses are then handmade and cured to develop their unique, delicate flavors and smooth, creamy textures. They'll demonstrate cheesemaking techniques and will provide tastes to attendees, who can also sample chilled rosés.
