Monday holidays can be a buzz kill. You can’t really celebrate because you know you’ve got regular day of the week stuff to do the next day. Charleston’s Cinco de Mayo Festival is on Sat. May 3 and celebrates Hispanic food, music, and culture. Hit up the Visitor’s Center Bus Shed for tequila tastings and a Zumba demonstration.
It’ll be a margaritaville on Cinco de Mayo at Señor Tequila in West Ashley: small margaritas are going for $4.20, mediums at $6.95, and large fishbowls are $9.
Cha Cha’s is hosting a Cinco de Mayo Monday Mayhem party beginning at 8 p.m. Tacos, $2 tequila shots, Tecate, $3 margs, and DJ Rehab could cause some mischief for your Tuesday.

Red’s Icehouse on Shem Creek is hosting a celebration on May 5 with $3 tacos, $12 pitchers of margaritas, and pickled Mexican shooters.
