Celebrate the World Cup by hopping on your bike and participating in the first annual Chucktown BikeDown brought to you by The Alley, Bay Street Biergarten, HoM, and Palace Hotel. Take your Sunday Funday to a whole new level by watching Belgium vs. Russia (12 p.m.), South Korea vs. Algeria (3 p.m.), and USA vs. Portugal (6 p.m.), while enjoying $4 Oskar Blues beers at each location in addition to $4 Westbrook and Holy City pints at The Alley, $4 Abita and Kona pints at Bay Street Biergarten, and $4 British Ginvasion cocktails (house-infused cucumber gin topped with tonic) and $5 rotating international pints, along with food specials, at HoM. Palace Hotel is still ironing out their specials. “Take in the World Cup the way it was meant to be enjoyed — on bicycles and with all your friends,” says Kelcie Keith, event coordinator and director of social media for Bay Street Biergarten. Ask about bonus deals if you show up on your bike at each location. A BikeDown passport can be picked up at whichever bar participators choose to start at. Get your BikeDown passport stamped at all four venues, and you’ll be entered to win a free custom bicycle from Oskar Blues Brewery. Follow along on Twitter with the official hashtag is #CtownBikeDown.
