This family-run seafood business in North Charleston got its start as a roadside crab-selling operation. Today, they still have an abundance of crabs pulled fresh from the water (you can check their market prices on Facebook, where we’ve seen them for $7.95 a dozen). They’ll season and cook them right there, too. Fish from croaker and mullet to flounder and red snapper sell for prices that range from $2.99 to $6.99 a pound. The kitchen cooks up clams, catfish, shrimp, and most everything else. The Jacksonville-style garlic crabs are steamed and sold 10 for $8. If you’ve never had a fried garlic crab, then you need to stop in and get you one. They will have new and upcoming specials and will have a kitchen on wheels this fall.
