The Charleston Film Festival, which will be held at the Terrace Theater on March 10-13, 2011, has announced a call for local entries.
The festival will feature a program titled “Carolina Perspectives,” which will have feature-length and short dramas and the top local films. Other programs include “Northern Exposures,” featuring the best from the Toronto Film Festival, and “Films from Around the World,” a set of films on the Jewish experience sponsored by the Charleston Jewish Federation.
CFF will be organized by Terrace owner Paul Brown, who himself has attended hundreds of film festivals as a filmmaker. Former Terrace owner and CFF organizer Michael Furlinger will serve on the festival’s jury.
Opening films will be announced in January. For more details on CFF, call (843) 762-4247 or visit the Terrace's website.
