In David Mamet's comedy, Threshold Repertory Theatre presents the story of two women who scheme to obtain the objects of their desire. Anna and Claire, two “women of fashion” scheme to obtain the objects of their desire. Spoken in Victorian dialogue, Mamet has written a play, that explores the paradoxical juxtaposition between a modern relationship and a conservative era and gives audiences a unique perspective on the history of female sexuality, independence, and love. "It's hard to imagine journeying at a rapid pace through thorny, jungle-like terrain without leaving the comfort of the living room. But that's exactly the kind of delicious dissonance Threshold Repertory's production of David Mamet's Boston Marriage delivers."-CP Review
