The Boone Hall Market is a small-scale grocery store with produce grown at the farm next door and a café that uses food from the grocery. They can’t get all their fruits and vegetables from the plantation, so they source from the Columbia Farmers Market to fill out their selection. They sell fish and shrimp caught by local fishermen, bake fresh bread, and sell butcher cuts of high-quality meat. Sure, the Boone Hall Market attracts tourists, but it’s still a great place to do your weekly grocery shopping. Stop by on your way home and order a hearty home cooked meal from their cafe, like country fried steak, a crab sandwich, or mac ‘n’ cheese. They do business between Mon.-Sat. from 9 a.m.-7 p.m., and on Sundays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
