During the summer blueberry season, this sustainable farm welcomes the public to come by and pick their own blueberries from their 3,000 plants. The blueberries typically ripen a little earlier than u-pick season, though, and when they do, the crew at Blue Pearl brings them out to sell at markets around the Charleston area. They teach fly fishing to individuals and groups, and they sell raw honey and honey bees at the music events they host. The newly built 28-foot stage attracts crowds of 250 to 400 with grandmothers and children mingling in the fresh air and late afternoon light. Check out their u-pick schedule on their website or Facebook page.
