Highlights from City of Charleston police reports

Blotter O' The Week: At 1:30 a.m., a man stole a rickshaw bike that was parked outside of a King Street bar.

Find O' the Week: A man building a house uncovered a 150-year-old cannonball.

Complaint O' the Week: "You gonna charge me with that lil' bit a weed? That's weak."

A man was arrested for being drunk in public because he was chugging "antiseptic mouthwash." We're pretty sure he'd argue he wasn't drunk enough.

Police found a prescription bottle on a man with 11 unmarked blue capsules. He told officers, "It's not narcotics. It's medication!" Which must have come from the same place as President Bush's "time horizon" for an Iraq withdrawl.

The Blotter is taken from City of Charleston police department reports. We've added a cartoon and a little commentary. We've added a little humor, too. No one has been found guilty. This is not a court of law.
