Blotter o' the week:
An employee of a Johns Island fast food restaurant was walking to the back of the kitchen when she heard another female employee mumbling derogatory remarks. The woman yelled back, and the manager eventually had to pull the two employees apart. Soon after, trash-talker threw a pan of hot gravy on the woman. Feel like fightin' tonight?
On Jan. 22, cops were called to the Charleston Music Hall because a woman was causing a disturbance. The woman was screaming, causing patrons to move away from her. She was placed in handcuffs and taken across the street, where she admitted she'd combined Valium with a lot of alcohol. She made many requests to be released so she could go kill herself. In a calmer moment, she admitted she was bipolar. After which, we're sure, no one was shocked.
Blotter Threat O' The Week:
"If you don't leave this job, I am going to kill you. I am going to clean your clock."
A man returned from a protest at a West Ashley women's clinic to find that his license plate sign had been stolen from the front of his truck. It read, "CHOOSE LIFE."
Blotter Misspelling O' The Week:
A man was walking on Westmoreland Drive on Jan. 20 when three men approached him, yelling, "We need to savage you! Give me my money for the moped!" The men threatened to hurt him, as well as kick down his grandmother's door. Which, everyone knows, are the ultimate fighting words.
