Look, we know that of Charleston County's three waterparks, Splash Island is the most toddler-friendly. It's designed for the wee ones, and that's why we take them there instead of Whirlin' Waters. So we were surprised to discover that Splash Island's one, lonely water slide offers one heckuva rush. It's not terribly long and it's not all that tall, but boy oh boy, does it ever get fast right at the end when you hit the final corkscrew turn. It's almost like being on a Gravitron ride at the fair. Consider yourself warned.
