We were big fans of Chef Sean Park when he was at O-Ku, and although we never followed him over to Bambu, we recently got a chance to get reacquainted with his sushi-master ways. However, on a recent outing it wasn’t Park’s sushi — nor his bibimbap — that really stood out. It was Kanpai’s pork belly rolls. But as tasty as those rolls are, the thing that really blew our minds was the dipping sauce, a mix of hoisin and Nutella. Thumbs up, Mr. Park. That was truly an inspired choice.
