When Adam Nemirow and Mike Lata announced plans to turn the old Bank of America building on Upper King into a new restaurant, who knew that the building would be so winningly transformed. Today, the old bank is The Ordinary Oyster Hall, a big old space that, when full of people, really comes alive. The loudness, the oysters, the brown leather seats at the raw bar — all combine to give the space an extraordinarily different vibe than any other restaurant in town. It conjures up the Grand Central Station Oyster Bar in a very real way. We only wish the raw bar was as big as the liquor bar so we had more chances to sit in front of the shuckers.
