We'll grant you that there's always someone doing something worth a chuckle at the dance clubs, but hey, you can only laugh at bad pick-up lines for so long. We much prefer the professional touch that the stand-up comics of Charleston have been providing as of late. With talented comics like David Appleton, Jason Groce, Mark Szlachetka, Dusty Slay, and Derek Humphrey making light of life at Light, courtesy of Stand Up Get Down, not to mention a whole slew of other stand up acts and competitions popping up all over town, we have a whole new reason to stay out late.
