Ordering take-out from Shi Ki is something of a weekly ritual at the City Paper HQ. For some of us, it happens more than once a week. Lucky bastards. While some folks like ordering simple rolls — hello, California — and others like the tamago nigiri — sweet egg custard — there’s one item that’s hands-down the best: the salmon sashimi. It’s got a wonderful buttery flavor that is unbeatable. You can order it solo, or go for a sushi and sashimi combo and hope that the chef threw a piece or two in there. It’s like winning the lottery.
