We don't care if it was all in good fun. Seriously, we don't. And we don't care that nobody — not state Sen. Glenn McConnell or the two Gullah performers that flanked him in the photo — intended any harm. But geez-o-petes, did anybody think about what would happen if a photo got out on the interwebs of McConnell dressed like a Confederate officer standing with two smiling African Americans in what seemed to be slave garb? Well, thanks to Will Folks, it did. Oh brother.
