If there’s one type of restaurant Charleston needs, it’s a dim sum place. And, yes, we know that some restaurants in town already serve dim sum. Good for them. But here’s the thing: Dim sum is supposed to be cheap. Like gorge yourself for under $13 bucks cheap. Well, until the day comes that a dim sum joint opens in the Holy City, there’s always H&L Market on Rivers Avenue. They’ve got an entire freezer section packed with dim sum — from pork buns to shumai. The size of the selection is mindboggling.
