Confession time: As the father of two young children and without a set of grandparents in town, I don’t get many opportunities to dine at Bacco at night. Except for the Italian restaurant’s annual Festa di Mare, the only time we are really able to sample Chef Michael Scognamiglio’s cooking is during lunch. Fortunately, Bacco serves up one of the best lunchtime deals around. For only $12, you get an entree — Gnocchi Sorrentina on Tuesday, Gnocchi Bolognese on Hump Day, Salumi Toscani Panuozzi on Thursday, and Margherita Pizza on Friday — a house salad or house-made soup and a drink, whether it’s water, iced tea, a soda, or a glass of house red or white. It’s a great deal.
