Coffee roaster King Bean has been roasting beans from all over the world in small batches and supplying their wares to local chefs and restaurants for more than 16 years. Their ground Malawi AAA drew our attention this year. A relatively unknown specialty, Malawi coffee is smooth, a little earthy, pleasantly roasty. You can find these and other varieties at Whole Foods and other fine local shops.
