COAST Brewing Co.'s bold and briny Oyster Foreign Extra Stout hit the growler stations and taps this winter. Brewed with local oyster clusters (from fisherman Jeff Spahr), the roasty seasonal ale was surprisingly gulp-able. It had a hint of salinity and marshiness, but enough to accent the roasted malt flavors. It's perfect with any local seafood dish or cheese plate. Maybe bartenders should garnish the pint glasses with fiddler crabs next winter.
