Dirty Dave

Readers Pick

David Alston, a.k.a. Dirty Dave Da Fly Guy, a.k.a Carolina Plug, has been making his mark on the Charleston hip-hop scene since his 2011 debut No More Mista Nice Guy. In 2012, his 1000 Ways to Get Paid was so successful, Monster Music and Movies sold out of the boxes upon boxes of CDs in just two days. 1000 Ways has since been followed up by a self-titled seven-track album featuring unfiltered songs like “Whip Me Up a Hummer,” “Drugs Only,” and “Put Dat Pu$$y in My Face.” Once a member of Dope Boys, Alston decided to go solo and start his own label, Dirty Dollar Entertainment, in 2004. Since then, he’s worked with the likes of Rocko, Bun B, Yung Joc, and MercyBeatz, and a recent Instagram post reveals Dirty Dave has a No More Mista Nice Guy part two up his sleeve for 2015.
