Best Graveyard Jam

"Cemetery Man" by Megan Jean & the KFB

Staff Pick

Songwriters Megan Jean Glemboski and Bryne Klay scored big points in 2010 for their impressive self-produced album Dead Woman Walkin', an atmospheric, spooky collection of ditties and rockers. One of the creepiest of the bunch was the macabre lead-off track "Cemetery Man." Practically a Halloween song, the verses tell the story of a gravedigger lurking about a graveyard. Megan Jean's operatic delivery pairs well with Byrne's thumpy bass lines and ghoulish backing vocals. Yikes.
