One of the most affordable local golf courses is the Herb Whetsell Municipal Golf Course (a.k.a. the Muni) on James Island. Do the math — if you save up the green fees you could have spent at more expensive courses, you might eventually be able to afford betting $80,000 on a game. Or maybe not. Either way, this historic course is popular with all skill levels.
