The pairing of Owen Beverly and Joel Hamilton’s voices is like an angelic masterpiece. The InLaws and their beautiful harmonies made some waves in Charleston a few years ago, but when Beverly moved to Brooklyn in 2010, it seemed the magic was over for good — until the Punks&Snakes album-release show last year. That little The InLaws reunion must’ve excited more than just the fans, because Hamilton and Beverly wound up writing and recording songs in the months that followed. With a brand new album now complete and ready for the finishing touches, the dynamic duo begins a tour this week with fellow Shrimp Records pals Shovels & Rope. Reunited, and it feels so dang good.
